A big moment, one we've been anxiously anticipating - a sweet reward to balance out all the hard, fussy moments. Golden.

Our days, these days
Glamour Shots
The lovely and talented Debra Gerth drove down from Seattle to give us the gift of her photographic talents. She took a bunch of beautiful shots of Zoli - here is a selection.
The Name
Zoltan Bernhardt Pearcy Tapay.
Short version: Zoli Tapay
Zoltan is an old Hungarian name - Tony is half Hungarian (his father is from there). Zoltan means "sultan", which translates to strength, ruler. We just thought it was a cool name. We call him Zoli, but Zoltan might come in handy sometimes.
Bernhardt was one of my maternal grandfather's middle names. He was a kind, generous man.

Zoli's visitors
Many more people visited than are pictured here! Sorry if we missed a photo op with you..
Anne, who was at the birth, brought us a meal and spent some time with Z.
Deb (who took our belly & baby pictures) and her daughter Madalyln visit from Seattle when Zoli was 5 days old to take slew of beautiful photos of him.
Our friends Eric & Ady had baby Quinn in July. We're so glad to have good friends in town to share this experience with.
My cousin Laurie & her family live close to Portland & stopped by to greet Zoli.
Laurie's daughter Grace did a great job holding the baby!
My Mom & Dad came out from Maryland to meet their 3rd grandchild & help out. Mom cooked & tidied up and held the baby, of course!

Jenny & her girls Cleo and May

Grey had a nice way with the little fella
Bryce & Cuti clowning around on in impromptu visit
We will miss them (that's bryce + cuti in non-clown mode) while they're in Argentina for a few months
Marta stopped by on her way back to Washington
